Note By Note

Here is a true representation of the performer in me. Before producing this album, my other albums contained original music. This album contains piano pieces I've learned over the years, but this album is the first time I've played these pieces as I have heard them in my head. With my disabilities, I was never able to play this music exactly as I wanted to, but thanks to my knowledge of music technology, I was able to input one note at a time, manipulate timing and expressive qualities, and successfully simulate studio performances of these pieces--right down to room noise and piano mechanical noises. My goal was to produce a recording that sounds like a traditional album, despite being produced using my computer. For the first time, my musical vision is made clear--note by note!
