Music for now, music for life
In today’s music industry, a musician who only knows how to do one thing leaves themselves unprepared for shifting artistic and market trends. Success depends on musicians becoming music futurists who possess creative agility and a solid foundation of musical vocabulary and technical skills upon which to build their unique artistic voice. Jeremy offers private music instruction to high school students and adults interested in furthering their music study.
Every student’s creative journey is unique. Inspired by the legendary pedagogy of pianist Leon Fleisher, Jeremy’s role as an instructor is never to impose personal musical prejudices, but to help you discover and authenticate your own artistic voice. Lessons are structured as collaborative dialogues—asking the right questions, exploring creative possibilities, and helping you build a musical expression that is entirely your own.
Whether you are preparing a conservatory audition portfolio, mastering advanced music technology, or exploring the piano for the first time, lessons are fully customized to your goals. Perhaps you are an instrumentalist looking to unlock the mechanics of music, or an aspiring composer ready to bring your scores to life, or a producer wanting deeper harmonic depth. Private instruction with Jeremy offers a holistic, future-focused approach to music education through two areas of study that reinforce and build upon each other. You can choose whichever area(s) best serve your goals. Jeremy ultimately aims for a student’s musical expression to become an extension of themselves.
